Photography and chasing sunsets fill my days as well as eating way too much dark chocolate with my husband and most resentley baby girl (not so baby any more). You can bribe me with wheat free pasta any day of the week, even better if it comes with a pizza (also wheat free of course). I love walking our two entusiastic Boston Terriers and one little bit calmer Labrador Retriever and finding special coffee spots whereever I go.
I love getting stuck into the detail. Detail about the wedding, detail planning your first baby’s photoshoot, or planning and getting stuck into cooking for my family.
Even though I love getting stuck into the detail, all those things you and your soon-to-be spouse spent hours on to make sure you and your guests can enjoy the day, I also love to capture moments as they unfold of you and the people you love. I

I fall in love with my job every day
Photography has been part of my life since I was very young. Growing up with a father playing around with film and an SLR camera, it had its advantages when I decided to take up photography as a hobby early on. After studying and working for a few years as a social worker, I never gave up my dream to become a full-time photographer. With almost 13 years of full-time photography behind me, I am still as passionate to capture your special moments as in that first few years.
This is Us On Our Wedding Day
When my husband and I got married, we decided we want a fuss-free wedding. This meant doing a lot of things different to suit our personalities, our ideas of what a perfect day would look like for us, and also having fun. So things got interesting. When the venue told us the soonest opening was on Monday to host us on their rooftop setting in the middle of Pretoria, it was an easy yes. It was easy and it was fuss-free. And that was the motto of our wedding and how we got it arranged in two weeks. My labrador retriever carried our rings down the aisle without even practising her moves beforehand. After all our guests left we visited a friend in hospital that could not attend our wedding.
Looking through our wedding photos I love to experience the day again and again. Some moments make me laugh and other gets me all teary-eyed. But for these moments, I am grateful and thankful to hold in my hands. All thanks to my wedding photographer.
