With the strength and versatility of leather, and the beauty and intricacy of lace it’s the perfect showcase to celebrate your love. This combination, along with greenery and natural colours led to a glamorous and inspired wedding.
We were able to capture an organic and natural feeling with a wide variety of vendors. What’s noteworthy is the fact that for every pair of socks that walk down the aisle, Sexy Socks – an empowerment program – donates a pair of socks to children in need.
Our inspiration started with the title of our shoot. Leather reminds us of something that is durable and long-lasting – symbolic of the relationship between the bride- and groom-to-be. Leather bow ties, suspenders and hair accessories were used to stylishly incorporate this resilient medium into our theme. The delicacy of the lace merged with the theme through the jewellery, makeup, hair, décor, accessories and location.
Our use of hardy plants, and seemingly contrasting textures are indicative of the complexity and beauty of that which we call love.
We believe that our intimate, styled shoot was both beautiful and practical.
