Being a mama isn’t easy, but it is definitely the best job anyone could ever have.
May this new adventure be filled with beautiful moments.

Celebrating a new adventure
A little crazy and a lot of fun – Man it is good to be one!
The hunt is over
We had gone to chose a design for a ring based on family diamonds we wanted to use. Whilst I thought the ring was still being made a few weeks later, I came out of the bedroom one morning and Colin called me outside. He then go on one knee and proposed on our porch that has a beautiful view. He said everything a girl wants to hear when her best friend asks her to marry him!
We drove down to a dark area in the free state with a group of friends to look at the stars. The night sky was full of stars and he asked me there under the stars. Seems fitting to have a sunrise wedding – We watch the stars disappear to a beautiful sunrise in a forest just outside Johannesburg busy city lights.
They met on a school trip; 3 o’clock in the morning on the bus; eight years ago. JP asked me on a rainy day on a game farm. He first took me on a trip down memory lane, giving me a book containing details about all of our dates and times together. We then went through a memory box of all the wonderful times we had together, before he revealed the best memory, the day we went shopping for the ring. After that, he went down on one knee, asking me to be his wife. That was the best moment of our lives. They celebrated their I do’s in the beautiful setting of @Boshoek, Lydenburg. So worth the drive from Pretoria and am sure the guests would agree. |
16 December 2015, on the beach in Mozambique, I woke her up at 4 in the morning to go pick up shells, we picked up a few, I called her over to show her a shell I picked up which was the ring. I popped the question and she said yes, with sunrise. And Boom, as told by the groom, now married less than a year later in Nylstroom, to his lovely wife. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Booysen.
