Blue, always my favourite
It is always special when I can capture families as they grow. Welcome little girl – You are so loved!

On a dusty road, I found a sweet, little girl playing in the sand with the sun on her back.
She has a heart of gold, doesn’t mind sand in her hair and plays with her new best friend, “Dusty”, side-by-side as the sun sets.
I think she and Dusty stole my heart – “Ek gaan jou (julle) mis”.
I heard I am your favourite. You are my favourite too – but don’t tell the others, I don’t want them to feel bad or miss out on any treats they might want to share with their Golden Boy (Ben). You looked beautiful. Sorry for stepping on your dress. I really just wanted to give you a kiss. I noticed another handsome guy – a bit taller than me, intruding on our photo session. I allowed him to be in some photos just to keep the peace. Okay okay not true – I was informed he was your date and I am not allowed to join at Velmore Hotel and Spa. Perhaps next time I will bring you flowers too and get to go out with a gorgeous girl at my side.
(Your Golden Boy aka Golden Retriever)
She is just too sweet.
st such a cute little ray of sunshine. Enjoy every minute with her.
I am definitely a summer person. Don’t get me wrong: I love winter when it’s beautiful and sunny though, like last week Saturday.
I don’t really care about the cold – But I will allow winter in if I can have sunsets like these every day.

Happy birthday to L & L. Time flies when you are having fun. The day themed with Lollos and Lettie, they had a blast. Inviting the friends from Lalaland to join the party made it all more fun. Lollos and Lettie had the prime spot on the cake, which disappeared very fast after it has been cut. I do not know if the adults or the children needed an afternoon nap, but I sure did.
A little crazy and a lot of fun – Man it is good to be one!
A fun and cheerful vibe were set at the lovely wedding and party venue in Cullinan, JanHarmsgat se agterplaas. The guests arrived in outfits fitting with the party theme; Boho Chic. When dressed as chic as that, you cannot let the moment pass you by, so we sneaked away for some couple photos in and around the venue.
Sticks and stones aren’t for breaking bones, if you’re a penguin. They’re symbols of love. Sticks adorn the nests where they raise their children, and stones serve as heartfelt gifts from one bird to another.

Puppy Raisers are very special volunteers who take a puppy into their homes, lives and hearts for 11 to 18 months and then, just when that mischievous puppy has developed into a well behaved and mature dog, they give them back! Many of them then start all over again with a new puppy! This is a volunteer program by the Guide Dog Association of South Africa.
While the puppy is with the Puppy Raisers, they are socialised as much as possible. It is very important that the dogs are introduced to as wide a range of experiences, places, people and animals as possible.
If you have any queries regarding the Puppy Raising Scheme, please contact one of the Puppy Raising Supervisors :

We had gone to chose a design for a ring based on family diamonds we wanted to use. Whilst I thought the ring was still being made a few weeks later, I came out of the bedroom one morning and Colin called me outside. He then go on one knee and proposed on our porch that has a beautiful view. He said everything a girl wants to hear when her best friend asks her to marry him!
Can’t wait for the wedding in June this year. Happy wedding planning. Enjoy every moment.
They met on a school trip; 3 o’clock in the morning on the bus; eight years ago. JP asked me on a rainy day on a game farm. He first took me on a trip down memory lane, giving me a book containing details about all of our dates and times together. We then went through a memory box of all the wonderful times we had together, before he revealed the best memory, the day we went shopping for the ring. After that, he went down on one knee, asking me to be his wife. That was the best moment of our lives. They celebrated their I do’s in the beautiful setting of @Boshoek, Lydenburg. So worth the drive from Pretoria and am sure the guests would agree. |
